Statement
My work is about the vulnerability and transience of the body, and the particular vulnerability of my own guarded femininity.
I rely on the tendency of the eye to confuse hard and soft. I rely on the tug of gravity.
My intention is to induce feelings of discomfort with the familiar traits of the human body, with objects that are both appealing and repulsive.
